In March I wrote that DxQSO is open by design — that the whole point is to be a system other ham radio apps can build on, not another walled-off logbook. That front door just got a lot more interesting to walk through.
Our public API is now at v1.4.0, and it exposes the same intelligence our dashboard uses. New endpoints let a partner app pull the DX spots you need for your CQ zone, the DXCC you still need, the POTA parks you need and the ones being spotted, and your POTA achievements — all keyed to the individual operator, all documented at dxqso.org/api.
Because it means the “what you need” intelligence does not have to live only on our dashboard. The logger you already use, the field app you already carry — they can surface it too. That is the platform play, and it is the honest reason DxQSO has always been architected as a connected record with an open interface rather than a destination we hope you will switch to.
