Using DxQSO with OpsLog

OpsLog is a well-made logger with a devoted user base, and this page exists for exactly one reason: to say that using DxQSO does not mean giving it up.

Certificates: the easy case

OpsLog uses TQSL's single-step sign and upload — TQSL signs your contacts and sends them to LoTW in one action.

Because of that, DX-TQSL can take your contacts to LoTW without a callsign certificate. Certificates are required to produce a signed file; when the signing and the upload happen together, that requirement does not arise. If certificates are what has kept you from using LoTW, this is the route around it.

How your log reaches DxQSO

What you get

Your logbook on your phone, an alert when a contact is confirmed and what it moved, award tracking across DXCC, WAS, VUCC and FFMA, the CQ awards and the DX Marathon, and club standings on DxSocial.

What DxQSO does not do

Common questions

Do I have to change how I log?

No. That is the whole point.

Does DxQSO upload to LoTW for me?

It does not need to. If you would like an easier path to LoTW, that is what DX-TQSL is for.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. Connect a logbook source and the core features are free.
