DxQSO is built by Steve Berry, N1EZ — a ham since 1977 — on a simple belief: the tools should do the work, so you can enjoy the radio.
Steve served as the ARRL’s Director of IT from 2022 to 2023, where he worked on Logbook of The World and the start of a cloud migration. There he saw first-hand what a modern, scalable confirmation system could be — and what it would take to get there: improving the TQSL application (certificate backup and recovery) and moving QSO processing to the cloud. He aspired to begin that modernization, and left the ARRL in 2023 before that work began.
DxQSO started as an “LoTW 2.0” prototype — proving that QSOs could be matched in real time, at scale, on a modern cloud architecture. From there it grew: DX-TQSL for cloud backup and restore of your signing setup, real-time QSL alerts, a unified cloud logbook, and mobile apps. Today it’s the intelligent, connected platform you see now — and it still works with the logging software you already use.
We don’t replace the logging apps you love — we connect them, and add the intelligence and community on top. Ham radio that knows you.
