General questions:

Once you replace TQSL with DX-TQSL on your PC, your QSOs and logbook data are uploaded in real-time to DxQSO. Your QSOs are sent to both LoTW® and DxQSO from your logging application.

As a “Freemium” user, you can choose to pull your QSL information from LoTW® on a monthly or quarterly basis. This is done in the background directly from LoTW® into DxQSO without involving you or your logbook application and is done when the load on LoTW® is reasonable.

As a “Member” (paid user), you can choose from daily or weekly data pulls from LoTW®.

With DX-TQSL installed (available under the “Download” menu) your logging application (which is already sending QSO data to LoTW®) will also send your full logbook entries to DxQSO.

When uploading a QSO which already exists in DxQSO, your DxQSO logbook data is updated with new or updated data and marked as the logbook source (N1MM, Ham Radio Deluxe, MacLogger etc.) of whichever logbook application last updated the record.

In order to store and view the detail of your logbook entries (Beyond LoTW® core information) you need to subscribe a be a Member of DxQSO.

Yes, as a Member, you can download your QSO/QSL information by specifying which logbook application format that you wish to load the data into. You can access this from the “Download” menu.

Once you install DX-TQSL on your PC or Mac, your full logbook data will be uploaded to DxQSO from that point forward. To upload historical logbook data recorded prior to installing Dx-TQSL, you must export your ADIF data from each of your logbook app(s) and upload them under the “My QSOs/ADIF Upload” menu. Your logbook data will be merged with any QSO/QSL data already pulled from LoTW® when you first setup your DxQSO account and entered your LoTW® login information.

DX-TQSL will automatically restore your certificate and station information if it does not exist. You can, however, ask for a manual restore from the DX-TQSL application menu.

Once you have installed DX-TQSL on your first computer, you may simply download DX-TQSL from the download menu on another PC or Mac. After logging into your DxQSO account from DX-TQSL, your callsign certificate and station information is automatically restored.

We will be releasing a real-time API to allow logbook applications to both upload and download new DxQSO entries. The integration of this functionality will greatly depend on our application partners.

We expect that DxQSO will be updated throughout 2024 and 2025. The development pace will depend on the level of paid subscriptions.

Yes, DX-TQSL will automatically update itself on your PC/Mac as new versions become available. We expect to release an updated DX-TQSL within 2 weeks of an update of TQSL.

DxQSO is built on a modern platform using highly scalable and secure technology from Amazon Web Services. The system is built to scale up or down as user demand requires.

If DxQSO cannot login with your LoTW® credentials, you will receive an email notifying you of this failure and asking you to update your LoTW® login information stored in your DxQSO profile.

You will see alerts in the notifications section of DxQSO. In addition, we plan to provide email notifications as an option for Members. Email notifications will be set in notification preferences within each user’s profile. You will be able to select email notification when new QSLs are received from LoTW®.
